Understanding Cataract
A cataract makes the normally clear lens cloudy. Vision may gradually become hazy and everyday tasks such as reading or night driving can become harder.
Common signs
- Cloudy or blurred vision
- Glare or halos around lights
- Faded colours or difficulty seeing at night
Assessment & care
An examination checks how the lens affects vision. Updated glasses may help early on. When cataracts interfere with daily activities, surgery to replace the cloudy lens may be considered.
Your eye specialist will recommend care based on your examination. Contact the clinic to confirm treatment availability.
